About Koflo

Koflo Corporation was founded on April 4th, 1983 by Frank Federighi and his two sons, Jim and Tony. The company was established with the intent of offering the highest quality static mixers at competitive prices, with a family oriented commitment to customer service and satisfaction. By following these principles for over twenty years, Koflo has become a leader in the static mixer industry.

In November of 1990, Koflo constructed its current manufacturing facility located in Cary, Illinois, a far northwest suburb of Chicago. This unique location has afforded Koflo the ability to attract employees with a strong work ethic, and at the same time utilize the vast wealth of resources from nearby Chicago.

In 1993, Frank Federighi retired after over twenty years in the static mixer business. At that time, Jim Federighi took over as company president, and Tony Federighi took over as vice-president.

In the ensuing years many changes have taken place within our industry. One of these changes was the requirement of "just in time" delivery. In response to this change, we increased inventory levels of our standard mixers and components. We also set up an inventory program for a majority of our OEM customers.

Another significant change that has occurred, is the merger and /or consolidation of many of our customers into larger, more diversified, global companies. As a result of this business climate, these companies are increasingly relying on the very principles that our company was founded on; quality, integrity, and a true commitment to the customers' needs.

As our company continues to evolve, we will strive to continue along the path that has proven so successful for our company. At the same time, we will continue to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the industries we serve.
